How do I clean my nails?

My nails are pretty gross and I don't know what to do with them... How do I clean them up and make them look nice?

They make nail brushes, and buff and file them.

Wash them in warm soapy water and if they have dirt under use a wooden nail stick to scrap the dirt and stuff out of them,and if you jave like chipped nails polish just get some remover on a cotton pad remove that,paint them with a clear base coat find a pretty colour/colours paint them neatly polish that gets on skin can be removed with polish and a qtip and finally put on a base coat and wait for them to dry :)
