This is just a quick trick i learned to maintain soft chap free lips.
Its pretty obvious that you need lip balm no matter the season
but what about something that would work past that.
I sometimes use my tooth brush. Yes! I said it my toothbrush.
I use my toothbrush on my lips. I would use a soft bristle, wet it under some Luke warm water and gentle glide it against my lips, top and bottom and then I would apply a mint flavored lip balm.
Works every time!
also Sugar is good. Simply have a tiny bowl of sugar and add a little bit of water, not too much to dissolve the sugar, then take you finger, dip it in the bowl and apply it to your lips. Smack your lips together or roll it like your putting on lip gloss then wash it off and pat your lips dry.
Hope it helps.

Sugar with honey and vaseline, mix it up ( only a little) and scrub your lips gently. Do that and then put Chapstick on right after. It works like a charm.
