I've been wanting to invest in a serum for my eyelashes and eyebrows, and was wondering if any of you knew of any effective but affordable brands, and where I could purchase them. Thank you everyone :)

You don't need to get a expensive product vaseline works wonders for both! :)

Vaseline does not promote hair growth. Application of Vaseline onto your lashes makes them appear thicker. Castor oil promotes hair growth.

Vaseline is something that works for me so.

I've tried Vaseline before but I didn't see any difference :( it made my eyelashes a little softer though, but that's it.

Then do some research. The application of the product makes it appear thicker and conditions your lashes. Nothing more.

For eyelashes, Urban Decay has a mascara called Lush Lash Mascara, to actually
grow your lashes longer. It's $20. This product is on my wish list!

The mascara can be used with Urban Decay's Lush Lash System which is contains a serum and conditioning mask. It's $42, but I've seen wonderful reviews :)

Elizabeth, I tried Gosh lash serum, and it works, it stings a bit if you get it to close to the eye, but it works :)
But really I feel that given them any kind of moist, like just with your every day moisturizer also works :) Maybe if you do both it will work even better!

Vaseline helps, especially for eyebrows! Morning and night in about 6 weeks time you should see a difference! 😀

@Jennifer I've heard good things about it, but its not in my budget :P thanks though :)

I recently picked up the Rimmel London Lash & Brow Grow. I hope it works. It was $7 at Target.

Do not put Vaseline on your eyelashes! they end up weighing the hairs down which will take out the natural curl and you'll eventually end up with "straight" eyelashes. it's safe to use on eyebrows as it'll help them stay in place and it won't make the hairs grow...dunno why people think this lol.
