I love the volume you get from teasing but I must be doing something wrong :( you can always see the knots through my hair and instead of it being even it makes my hair bumpy... suggestions & tips? pictures would be fantastic, I am a visual learner :)

I am so so obsessed with teasing my hair but I totally agree, it's hard to get it to stay in shape, I normally lift the top layer of hair and tease underneath then brush the top layer over, once I have teased a small section I hairspray the section, and tease the same section again to kinda make the hairspray be packed down almost, make sure you tease the same amount of hair in each section and don't forget to brush over it slightly :) sadly I couldn't find any pics but I hope this helped a little :)

I sprinking some backcombing powder at my roots I like redkens, then I use a teasing comb to backcomb then a teasing brush to smooth everything out and finish with some hairspray!
