You can use a stippling brush or a beauty blender but I personally like to use my fingers by lightly patting all over. I pat for higher coverage since most don't have much & I wanna get as much as I can with the smallest amount (one pump). don't rub it in like you would with moisturizer or foundation because youll just end up wiping it away. you can use foundation and/or concealer afterwards if you need more coverage. if you want light coverage but still need more coverage in some areas, skip the foundation and just use a little bit of concealer after you've applied your bb cream. you can always add foundation on days you need your makeup to last longer and your bb cream will act as a primer and color corrector. youll notice youll need MUCH less foundation and concealer than usual.
how you wear bb cream depends on your skin type. if you have normal or dry skin, you probably don't need to set it. bb creams can be very hydrating and dewy looking, but if you have oily or oily to combo skin, I'd set your makeup with translucent powder for a semi-matte finish. this is what I do because I have oily to combo skin and I hate dewy looks on me haha
