Microdermabrasion for acne?

I've heard that microdermabrasion gets rid of acne.Has anyone of you tried it and did it work for you? or do you atleast know someone has acne who has undergone this treatment and was it effective enough? What age could undergo this treatment?

My sister had it real bad for years and honestly the only thing that rid her acne and kept it gone was a six month course of antibiotics and steroid cream c:

I'm not sure if it works for acne, but it does help to keep skin clear. I am 16 and use Nutrimetics microdermabrasion and I love it, it takes off unneeded layers of dead skin and reduces redness :)

A peel would work wonders. I'd consult an Esty and get one done professionally.
