How to add volume to dry hair?

I was trying to do a messy high ponytail but my hair is so straight and not-voluminous that I look stupid. Please help.

Take a shower when you come out put mouse in your hair brush through your hair and tease a bit :) Use leave in conditioner too

Get random parts of your hair and tease underneath the parts, make sure to spray some hairspray on the teased bits. I have realllyyy thin and straight hair and this works for me :)

After you get out of the shower towel dry it or blow dry it upside down, then appy mouse in it also upside doen.
