What do you use to curl it.

I usually just use a regular curling iron.

After you curl the hair don't drop it immediately hold the curl ( it might be hot) until it cools down then add spritz. if you let the curl just dropped it would continue to stretch.

After you curl a section twist it around your finder in the direction that the curl is going and flatten it to like a pinwheel like shape and pin it up. Do that to all the sections you curl so it will cool that way. Let them sit for 5-10 minutes then take them out and hairspray. I'm sorry if you found this confusing lol but I tried to make it sound less confusing as possible. Anywho hope this helps lol :))

I also find mine holds better with the loreal thermo curl spray
Pinning it up after making the curl until it cools down will also help
Do not use too much hairspray or product because it'll take the curl out
Blow dry your hair on the cool thingy before letting the pinned up curls down
Usually straightener curls hold better than wand ones

No when you use an iron... Does a curl form at all? Like when you take the curling iron/ straigthener out?

Okay :) well that means you need to build up on that ;)
Do you use the right heat setting?

Definitely. It's weird because when my mom curls my hair she does it really good and it staid for a LONG time.

Anna are you using other products, is she using another temperature or holding it shorter or longer when she does it?

Try a smaller barrel curling iron. my hair stays just about straight with a 1" but stays curled for days with a 3/4"

I have a professional Karmin Clipless so my curls last longer. I brush my hair out and use some heat protector, then I tie up sections from the front and leave the back loose to work on first. I take 1 inch pieces of hair and wrap them around the curling wand for 10 seconds and do this with all the hair until I finish the back section. I take down a side section and repeat the steps, then the same with the other side. I separate the curls with my fingers and use some very argan oil styling serum and that's it!
