I'm thinking of getting a tragus piercing, it would be a small diamond on one side! what do you think about this piercing, does it hurt a lot, how long does it take to heal, easy to take off...and so on :)

Definitely worth it. Mine didn't hurt at all. I went shopping straight after :) I'd keep it on as long as possible though because If you mess with it it'll get infected. Keep it clean with a solution or warm salt water and a cotton bud. Definitely worth it. :)

Don't hurt at all and low risk of infection, mine healed great and haven't regretted it at all so overall yes I think it's worth it :)

I did not get numbed and I thought it was fine, no sore, my cartilage hurt more. It is worth it but it is tricky getting piercings that don't stop you from getting earphones in your ear.

I'm not a fan so many people have it now I think its just boring and too many ear piercings looks trashy, most people I know took there's out after a couple of months because they changed there minds and thought it was annoying and got in the way, it doesn't hurt though (most piercings don't ) but if you do get it done make sure you get it done with a needle and not a gun! guns should NEVER be used for cartilage as they can shatter it and thats just nasty :/ some people find the bars easy to change some don't it just changes from person to person, healing time also depends on the person but its the same as cartilage so however long that takes to heal on you should be about the same time again, be sure not to wear a stud thats too small when its still healing, my friends bar was too small and the front of the bar actually got stuck inside of her hear where she had lent on it in her sleep and she then had to get it surgically removed which really wasn't nice.

Mine was pretty painless, I've had out for almost 4 years, and I've had no issues, aside from the earbuds. They didn't numb it, it was totally worth it.

It freakin HURT when I got mine done but the pain went away quickly :) Sleeping on that side of your head will be a pain at first but it's not anything too bad

And Sarah said it! Guns also can't be put into an autoclave to be sterilized...They pierce with a blunt force rather than a clean cut like a needle, which can lead to your cartilage shattering (like Sarah said) and the unnecessary force causes you more pain / longer healing time :)

I have both of mine done. Love them. I wear labrets in them, they are soo comfortable and don't cause any problems.

Mine got seriously infected and I ended up needing to go to hospital. Little things like shampoo or hairspray really affect it! Also, it's difficult to change the bar because of where it is! I would get it done again though :) I have my helix done too x

I have both mine done but always forget they're there because they are so comfortable. All the other piercings I had in my ears were very uncomfortable so eventually I just took them all out, even my lobes. But I still love my tragus piercings. My advice is to get them done with a needle by a professional. Anyone who tries to use a gun is not what I consider a professional and I learned that the hard way. (cartilage piercings done with a gun that were too close together and infected constantly). The pain is different for everyone though. I have a high pain tolerance so it didn't hurt that bad. It was the usual pinch and burn of a piercing but a little more intense because of the thickness of the area. But it was over quickly and then they just burned a little afterward. I have small hoops in mine and they are very comfortable and don't get caught on anything. I would recommend getting a hoop put in when you first get it and so you have something to switch to if you don't want to wear a stud or post. I've never had a post in mine but I think they can be a little irritating and tend to get caught on things, that's just my suggestion though. Good luck if you decide to go for it! :)

I got one several years ago and had to take it out. I was having molar issues and it caused extreme pain that didn't let up until I took it out. I was sad, most people don't have any problem with them though.
