Hey girls :)!
I have a banana body shape (I.e. very little waist and hips and shoulders are about the same width) but I'm also petite. I've read some articles about how to flatter this body shape however I can't really figure out which type of dress would suit me. So, any advice for me? (pics would be appreciated if you can find any, please)
Thanks for your help!

Consider clothes that bring out your hips and are right around the bust to avoid the "boyish" look.
Avoid extremely baggy or extremely tight clothes, both can emphasize your straight frame, you wanna aim to create some curves
Try objects that stop at your waist or tighten around it, high waisted shorts, peplum shirts or even just belts to put around your waist
A line skirts or any skirt that flares at the hips will give the appearance of larger curves
Try getting fitted blazers or jackets that sinch at the waist
Straight leg pants will also look amazing on you

Also you can use Katie Holmes as a fashion inspiration, she has the same body shape and definitely works it!

Well lines that go horizontal makes you look wider/bigger, looks good on certain people (-: should suite you.
