When I curl my hair it layers and looks really poofy in the back. It doesn't look that good. What can I do to prevent this?

Try not sectioning your hair and use a straightener, I find using straighteners gives me a better result that using curlers : ) xxx

Also, you may want to go for a less tight of a curl in that section, to do this, have your roller go further away from the base of your scalp. Try increasing the diameter of the roller-the smaller the roller, the smaller & often tighter the curl. Also, take into account how much hair you are placing in the rollers. Lastly, next time you get your hair cut, let your stylist know that you curl your hair regularly & your concerns, the more communication you have with them can help them guide you into a style, or an adjustment of the one you have to ensure the issues you are having are lessened!
