Simple, low maintenance. Just a fresh even skin tone, a little liner and mascara, touch of blush and tinted balm and I think that's enough! Enhances your features w/o having to go overboard.

Either focus on your eyes or lips. Also make your face semi matte. A brown subtle smokey eye and nude lip would look awesome!

Tip: never use anything with SPF for photos because it will make you super shiny (my profile pic can testify for that lol) and powder right before the pic

Ok cause you have short hair just straighten it. Maybe make it flip in. To frame you face better. For makeup DO NOT go all out. It's a picture for school, that baing said you don't want to have like no makeup. So do a natural look. The naked pallets have good colors. This makeup is perfect.

Pretty much what they all said ^
But make sure you contour! The flash can make your face look flat by eliminating the natural shadows and it's super unflattering
