I've herd of that you should probably google it and it works better on lighter colored hair I think.

It stays for a long long long time. My cousins did it with red koolaid just on the tips and it was hard to get out. So I guess in a way it is permanent.

My best friend did it. She would re do it every other week, & eventually she stopped but the tips of her hair are still red.

I went to go ombré my hair 3 months after I koolaid dip dyed it red. We were trying to bleach the red out for 4 hours and it wouldn't come out and we tried a week later and bleached for two hours and it finally came out. So yeah I'd say its fairly permanent. It works best in light hair. Good luck

If your hair is brown it won't work. It only works on light hair.

It stays in for a while if you don't wash your hair for like two our three days after so it really had time to set. If you have dark hair the red comes out nice and it doesn't look bad fading.

Wouldn't recommend if you want to dye your hair for a short amount of time cuz it kinda permanent. My friend did it and her tips are still red.

It stays in soooo long! Try a vegan dye instead, it comes out faster and doesn't damage your hair :) hope this helps!

I dye my tips all the time ( once a month) I don't bleach but I suggest it. I use black cherry in a big pot. Boil water then let cool a bit. Soak hair for 8-10 min.

I dyed it 4 months ago and its still there. And when I bleached the tips its does not turn to a blonde color for me, it showed up to be a pink redish color. So in that case, yes it can be permanent on how many times you dyed it. Use unsweetened kool aid so it does not make it sticky and stuff.
