What if I use an airbrush machine from Michaels and bought the pigments from a real make up airbrush machine. Would it work?

Technically it would, but the issue is that the psi (pressure per square inch) range is going to be much too high for skin. you could actually hurt yourself and the application is somewhat thicker than if you bought a temptu or other skin designed system. so you can, But I can't say you'll get the same results.

I would imagine you really wouldn't save much money this way. a company like dinair gives you a few bottles of makeup when you order a machine so just check prices first before you end up spending more!
