Lol we are like brace sisters! ^.^ <33. I kno they hurt so bad! at first but then you'll find yourself smiling after (;. well basically I just go like a neutral , and then like a really nice & fun! eyeshadow. but I'm not down enough to wear a bold lipstick -.- lol just cause I don't want to draw too much attention to my mouth! haha if that even makes sense?? lol srry if I ain't that much help ://

Omg I just got braces last Friday!! I got hot pink. I used to smile with my lips closed but now it's hard with braces! But I'm getting used to them, eating wise. :)

If you have dark colored bands on your braces they stand out more but if you get white or yellow they usually fade into a nasty color. I always get like a pastel pink and sky blue, it helps them not stand out!

When (if but most likely) you get a power chain, I wouldn't recommend black or white. I've had dark purple, light purple, and light blue and they've looked fine. I am super analytical so I was worried about my teeth looking yellow but these colors have been fine :)

Don't get blue braces (if you have coloured ones)!! They make your teeth look more yellow!
