Stands for "blemish balm" (or so I've heard)it takes the place of foundation & concealer I think. its an allover face thing. its very light and good for summer.

Its used as a moisturizer light coverage an somtimes spf an its suppose to have some skin care benifits its a better tinted moisturizer.

It depends on the company but most are a moisturizer, primer and light coverage makeup in one. They started in china and Japan.
