Trolls are always going to be on the Internet. You can't take way they say personally. Just know they are miserable and keep it moving.

Too many rude people everywhere. It would be nice if people could be polite or be quiet.

I agree I see mean comments and it makes me SO MAD, There is a BIG difference between nice helpful corrective criticism and just being a bi*ch! This may not be intentional but think twice before you open your mouth please because some take criticism better then others but really? How would you feel? Gosh that's a rant! Well I really hope some people get the idea that its not nice to be mean!

At the end of the day, you can never change other people. I say, try to focus on yourself and how you can be a good influence by being fair, kind and honest. That way sooner or later the rotten apples will get seperated from the people who still need to learn how they come across or that simply have a language barrier. Like someone before me in the thread mentioned, it takes a group to keep the right atmosphere, and as far as I've noticed there are a lot of wonderful people here willing to put effort into maintaining that. So don't worry too much about it. :)

Also, something to think about; what you pay attention to grows.

It also could be a cultural difference. Dutch like me are so down to earth and just like to give their opinion in the way mooky does for example. I like this way a lot, but I understand the sensitive way Americans talk, not that I think it's very sincere at all times. For Dutch it's like talking to a child and sometimes exhausting, haha. Not trying to offend people, but this is what I think also could be a problem here. Just like Alma is talking about.

There are always cultural differences, but I don't think anyone can fully comprehend what those are. To respond to you Rebella, I don't think its really that much of a difference through text. People are people and there are just too many different types to place them under one denominator. I know loads of people here that can make drama over nothing and could not be considered down to earth for the life of me. But maybe that's on my side of the river.

Sure we also have sensitive people here, but they are rare species. :)

Maybe we might read things wrong. I know I do this ALOT. But I always think "well what if they don't read it right? Won't they get the wrong impression?" I'm sure there are some rude and slightly snarky comments but not all of them may be.
