How can you prevent pimples?

I am wondering how can I prevent pimples becuase I always that one point of the year where I just have a pimple problem.

Don't use too much foundation/powder, cleanse thoroughly, exfoliate, use cinnamon honey masks, oatmeal masks, aspirin masks, there are lots!

The only makeup I wear is mascara and maybe a little eyeliner but yea I wash my face befor I go to bed and try to stay healthy
