My best friends sister is getting married in August and she's asked me to do her makeup. I've done freelance makeup before, for photoshoots and theatre, but never done bridal makeup! Any tips would be really appreciated!

Keep the look natural, take her color scheme into consideration.
Put a little extra blush to make her look the blushing bride she is and keep the lip simple but not too light since her dress will be white and her makeup will be natural.
A nice pink or red lip would be nice.
Be careful which powder you use to set the makeup, it may have a shadow in the pictures.
Don't go crazy with liners.
Make sure you know exactly what they want, but also let them know if it's reasonable. (they can't all look like Kim kardashian)

Natural and glowy is key. Naked would be best for this occasion, I've also heard a loot about the physicians formula eyeshadow trio wet or dry in oatmeal. Make sure its glowy and natural and SHOWS HER FAVE FEATURES. You'll do amazing and take a lot of pictures!

Use matte eyeshadows and highlights! Shimmery stuff can look really weird in flash photography, so it's best to use mostly matte finishes.
