Mine flatten out after about a week and a half after using the soap.

It's really depending on your skin and if it is store bought or natural mine was natural and took a few weeks but you kinda have to be carful how long you leave it on your face as it can bleach your face. But it is a great product I can't live without.

If it's not real black soap (brought from a hair supply store) then it will only make your acne worst... Mind was brought to me from Liberia & sometimes Nigeria (my mom has family and friends their)
