Lidocaine Gel before Epilation.

Hey, has anybody ever heard/tried topical Lidocaine Gel/Cream before epilating, waxing or tweezing? (lidocaine is like a numbing medication, used to make a lot of procedures painless)
I'm considering using it because I'm finding epilating veryy painful.
Anybody who has an experience with lidocaine use?
