I've been using Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Deep. Its a matte and its flawless. It doesn't turn orange on me nor does it break me out. I also discovered Too Faced Caribbean in a Compact-Sun Bunny which has a light shimmer(aka you don't look like a disco ball) and I've been totally in love with that one if not more than my Bobbi Brown compact. The most important thing is to make sure you have a great brush to apply bronzers because they can either make or break the look you are trying to achieve.

I am not sure is your looking for the bronzer to be used as a replacement for your foundation or as bronzer is normally used for. If as a replacement, try MFE matte bronzer in #40, nice tone, not too dark or too light, will give a medium-deep skintone a beautiful finish. If for the outskirts of the face, use one with a golden tint/shimmer like TooFaced bronzers. There are lots to pick from.Nars casino has a golden tint to it as well.

I have used foundation that is a shade range or so above my own. It doesn't have to be bronzer. I buy a concealer that is very tan and work with it. If I used MAC I would be NC25/30, so my concealer would be 42 to achieve tan.
