You aren't supposed to use scented shower products in that area while it's healing. to clean it in the shower I used a simple antimicrobial soap they gave me at the shop. it's orange soap in a clear bottle. then I used the sea salt spray after. :)

I didnt change mine untill it was completely healed & I used bactine. Its a spray my piercer gave me (green and white bottle) and I just sprayed it directly on my piercing twice a day, it healed perfectly.

I had a hoop in mine. It wouldn't right. Till I changed the hoop to a bar. Then after a month or two it finally healed up. I cleaned mine in the shower. And did sea salt soaks two times a day. An I didn't let my shirts get close to it.

I used sea salt dissolved in hot water and soaked it by typing a cup upside down over top of my belly button and hold it there for a couple minutes if that makes sense and in the shower cleaned with unscented dove soap
