This hairstyle I saw on Instagram would look cute. It's basically a fishtail on the back/bottom part and pin it white curling the left/top side of your hair.

I have short hair too. I usually curl just my bangs or make them into a little poof thingy. Curling it is also super cute. Don't use too much heat if you want it to grow back healthy.
