Ok ladies I need your help!! I've been parting my hair in the same direction for years. I just recently discovered that I love it so much more parted in the other direction but can't get it to stay! I've tried blow drying, gel, hairspray, straightener but I can't get the hairs to stay down and going in thedirection I want it to! Any suggestions??

If you blow dry in alternating sides it will work -- to the left to the right etc.

Yeah the same thing happened to be a few months ago! I just had to train it to go that way with a blow dryer but it took a while.

Should I put any kind of product in my hair beforehand? Nothing too pricey please.

No need for product just pin it while you sleep and after you have blow dried it just use a bobby pin/clip it might take a while but you have to retrain your hair to grow in a different direction basically.

You just have to retrain your hair-which may take a bit. Like Diana said, try pinning it to the side you want it on while you sleep or are just lounging. In the morning, blow dry it in the direction you want it, and pin it while you're doing your makeup or getting ready for the day.
