I just got a new vanity mirror with a magnified side as well as different light settings...today I was tweezing my eyebrows w/ the magnified side and I realized I have a TON of acne scars all over my face!

Is there any possible way to completely get rid of them, or at least fade them? If so, please let me know any tips, tricks or good products! xo

I find that microdermabrasion works great too! After a series of treatments, almost all of my clients begin to see great results. Just make sure you set up a plan with either an esthetician or medispa to find out what's best for your skin.

A cheaper solution might be Bio Oil. I would suggest buying the small bottle because a little goes a LONG way. It takes a while, but if you use it consistently, it should, at the least, fade your scars. I can't promise you anything though because as I'm sure you know, all products work differently for everyone. :)

All these suggestions are good and to add on top of that be sure you're using a sunscreen. It will help you maintain your results from any treatments you do and keep your hyperpigmentation from reoccuring. If you dont wear sunscreen, all your treatments will be a waste. Good Luck!

Has anyone tried invicible for Acne scars?
I'm in dire need of someone who could recommend me any effective product which could make these scars from my face and and disappear and which is relatively affordable . I've heard great stories of invicible scars at different forums. Has anyone here tried it ? Would love to hear your experience

defintely Bio Oil, it works really good on fading new scars but not promising on old scars, its definitely worth a try. It worked on me, the minor scars i wanted to get rid of are GONE.

I know this sounds crazy, but I've been having terrible acne break outs which leaves dark marks on my face. After several products later, I finally tried Shea Butter and Olive Oil. Yes I said Olive Oil, you know the stuff you cook with. After I wash my face at night I place a pea size amount of Olive Oil in the palm of my hands and massage all ove my face. I wash my face in the morning and massage Shea Butter all over my face and then apply my oil free powder foundation. It has been two months and the dark marks are almost gone. If you have dry skin like me I highly recommend the healing power of Olive Oil and Shea Butter.

Drink plenty of water daily. Keep your skin clean and clear. And avoid using every second product on your face because they can make your scars go worse than how they are now. Since I’ve tried invicible myself and that someone else here also recommended the same product, I’d recommend you try it because it's also hypoallergenic. If it isn't going to work for you, it isn't going to harm you either

really there isn't any miracle product over the counter thats going to get rid of scarring. scarring is damaged tissue! i think there is a better chance to help the redness get away when it's not old scars.
but if they're old scarring, you should go to a dermatologist. they'll know what to do for your skin. and my recommendation is laser treatment. it works, but it's pricey. someone above mentioned microdermabrasion, it does work, but you have to keep getting them done, it isn't as pricey as laser treatments by far, so whatever is in your price range. i guess. good luck!

Products with at least 2% hydroquinone as the active ingredient(like Murad's Dark Spot Corrector you can find at Sephora or Ulta), or Obagi's dark spot corrector that has 4% hydroquinone - this will probably have to be purchased online since 4% is illegal in some states.

Some Remedies To Get Rid of Acne Scars.

• Neem is used for the treatment of all sorts of skin problems. It contains Nimbidol and Gedunin, which have very good fungicidal properties. Neem has proved to be beneficial in skin disorders such as warts, scabies, psoriasis, eczema, and even dandruff. It is extremely effective in acne treatment.

• Orange peel has been found very effective in the local treatment of acne. mixed well with water on a piece of stone, the peel should be applied to the affected areas.

• Take 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Make a paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.
