I would like to know when natural (still tweezed!) but non-filled in brows went "out" and when filling them in became "in"??
Today I saw someone ask for an opinion on their eye make up--flawless. But everyone had to point out her brows were not done. Went to another post, perfect make up and the brows...oh no.
But I would like to know all you opinions. What's too much what's not enough?

I think since really thick brows are in right now everyone is looking to have dark, defined brows. I think it's up to the person to decide whether they want to fill them in or not, but of your brows have a nice shape and aren't patchy, I'd leave them alone.

I only fill where needed.. a nice shaped eyebrow is nice but I don't like when its over defined.. your eyebrows shouldn't be the first we thing we notice.

The look of a well defined brow completes a look in my opinion. it makes your eye makeup look better.

See now I do agree on that and I do full in my brows where needed.

This is not filling in where needed, this is drawing on eye brows.

I didn't draw my eyebrows on.. I took am angled brush and used a dark brown eyeshadow..so I shaded in my brows opposed to 'drawing' them in

My eyebrows take forever to grow! its been about 2 mo. now and they are a bit thicker. they used to be thinner though. so I have no choice to fill them in for now. ;/

I currently am working on growing them back but they still need daily filling, which I am still in the process of mastering. I tend to like having more bold/defined brows as my statement makeup, instead of a defined lip or eye because I don't much like my lips, and my glasses always obstruct any eyeshadow/liner looks I do.
Here is me with no brow makeup at all:

I don't fill in my brows. I don't think its necessary.

Being a ginger my brows are white blonde (weird but true) I only really fill them in when I do a full face of makeup so they frame my eyes. Purely because they are so light I look like I have none. Day to day I just use clear brow gel to set them so they don't end up looking like scraggly caterpillars on my face...not that anyone would notice anyway.

Recently I messed up my eyebrows pretty badly lol, they're super thin now but filling them in makes them look fuller and I can shape them to how I want with dark brown eyeshadow and concealer. I agree with Jillian, I think it's because thick full eyebrows are in and also in general it just finishes off a look. Also, I only fill in my eyebrows when I have a full face of make up on. There are many girls though that can pull off natural eyebrows since their eyebrows are naturally thick but sadly I've messed up my eyebrows over the years from plucking and what not. Eyebrows are definitely something that I struggle with haha.

@karla your brows are so pretty.
@Destiny I don't have any advise, all I do to my brows is use clear gel to make them look fuller with a little powder.

@emily omg your brows are amazing c:
@laura thank you gorgeous (: I also agree on your method of filling in eyebrows. I use elf brow kit gel and dark brown eyeshadow. simple and effective (:
@destiny try to grow out your brows and refrain from plucking no matter how hairy they get lol you should get then threaded instead

@Karla Thank you so much!! I appreciate it! I try to make them look as natural as I can but I still need practice!
