They probably say that because of the lashes - a lot of people think lashes should only be used for night out or special occasions. However, I think lashes definitely enhance the eyes and enhancing is a big reason why people wear makeup so why not?! My friend wears falsies every day and it looks awesome. Just be comfortable in the makeup that you wear and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. You have to wear the makeup and not let it wear you :)

I don't think its to much at all! I live in aus and I've seen cake faces. Like, 2 tones darker foundation. That is not cake face at all. Just tp be sure though, make sure you blend your foundation down your neck and into your hairline. Also, make sure you have the right colour!

If you think it's fine then it's fine. Don't worry about whether anyone else thinks its too much, just worry about whether you feel like its too much :) why be uncomfortable for everyone else's sake? I always wear 'too much makeup' in most people eyes because in my eyes it's 'just enough' :)
