Well deslick doesn't set makeup (or at least that I am aware of), so I say use deslick (first, before makeup) then use a setting powder (obviously after makeup). Depending on what kind of deslick it is (since they have 3 kinds) send the deslick or setting powder with her and when she uses the restroom she can check the shine. The womens restroom is also called the powder room for a reason!

Urban Decay De Slick SPRAY does your foundation. I use the All Nighter spray & do my face, apply my powder then spray with the setting spray. You can use both. The setting spray will also allow her to look less cakey.

I do use uds de slick pressed powder and I swear by it, since I've been using it my super oily skin looks much better and it does not remove any of my foundation blush highlighter etc.like blot papers do.
