I'm having a hard time finding a balance between "set for the night", and light and natural skin. My thing is long lasting makeup but I hate making my clients skin look like there is a thick layer of makeup... I suppose this is really only true for the drier skinned faces... But I'm still looking to improve my application for dry skin.
Any suggestions?

I use Mary Kays foundation and finishing spray, this helps the foundation go on super smooth and last long without a thick cakey look. www.marykay.com/launah.

I got the heavy set from Goss and that's what I find looks cakey.
