Oh and it's easier if you start in the middle

For me it helps to apply by making small dashes. its much harder to create one single perfect line without messing up.

Lisa Eldridge's kitten flick tutorial was really key for teaching me how to do a cat eye. She suggests using a cream eyeliner and a thin brush. Here's the video if that helps :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LxcWR9_1E9s.

Gossmakeupartist from youtube has a amazing trick to get the right winged eye liner.

Or if all else fails put a small bit of micropore tape at the angle you want your liner to go and then do your liner. Any mess will be on the tape and you should have a sharp line.

Nice tips, hopefully I can finally learn how to do it. I can't do a nice winged eyeliner even if my life depended on it, lol.

I've tried for months to get it right, and it was finally gossmakeupartist on YouTube who have me the tip that really helped. Now my winged liner is quick and easy! Watch it!

When ever I do my eye makeup I use a bit of Scotch tape to create a clean line and that help create a line where I can place my liner.

In my pic (sorry not clearer) you can see where my liner is and my shadow ends. The tape saves me from many uh ohs LOL.
