I've always have had very dark hair. Yes I have dyed it many times throughout the years, but was wondering on the best route to go on lightening my hair so it was more if a golden brown. Right now its basically a dark brown with warm tones.

I've heard head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner makes hair lighter

I have really dark hair, and mine gets a sandy blonde with blonde tips when I lay out in the sun for a while:) it sounds weird, but if I can find some before and after pictures ill post them :)

And when I mean a while, I mean like a month of soaking up the sun.

Go to a salon and get a really fine weave, heavy full foil. It won't look like highlights it will just all over lighten it up if they do it correctly!
