What should I use to complete this look, my hair is the same color a little lighter on top but I don't want to use bleach. Should I just try to use a light brown? Or if it takes bleach, what shampoo and conditioner to use to keep hair from splitting and being gross!!

^^^^absolutely. I always get mine done at a salon. there is always a special going on, keep your eye out at different salons they usually offer different chemical specials.

Salon. one of the girls at my school did ombre at her house and came the next day her hair was bright coppery orange bc she didn't know what she was doing and it looked like it would all fall out any second. so yeah your best bet is a salon so you know its getting done the right way.

My friend did this and it came out great. she didn't even bleach it. I was surprised when I asked her and she said no. she got a super light blonde color and just dyed the tips and it looks really nice on her(:
