I want to become a makeup artist, and I was wondering is there anything I should know before I go to beauty school? :)

I'm currently studying at a college for beauty and it is tough! it's not just about makeup and the fun stuff, a lot of hours are spent pen on paper, beauty is skin deep! x

Depending on where you live, it isn't necessary/ Here in CA you can be a mua without going to school but it doesn't hurt to take a course and/or get certified with a pro makeup company like Kryolan.
