I have a very itchy scalp and some dandruff according to my hairdresser he asked me what shampoo I used but didnt give me any tips on how to deal with it. Do any of you know what can help me with this problem, I would prefer a natural at home remedy because I live in Sri Lanka and its so hard to find products for my hair type here. (I have mixed afro hair which has been rebonded) Thanks in advance.

Coconut oil massage on your scalp and live it overnight then in the morning wash your hair also a olive oil you can massage on the scalp. Use oils to soften your dry scalp that way you have dandruff and itchy scalp.

After applying coconut oil , in the motning apply lemon juice to your scalp. It will itch n give tingly sesarion.. But dnt worry it means its working on your scalp... N let it set for haf n hr. Nd then shampoo your hair with mild shampoo. Prefrably herbal... Nd for the final rinse use neem water. Boil neem leaves till the water bcumes green. Let it cool. Nd wash your hair. This acts as antibacterial tonic on your scalp. These are tried n tested by me...

Hi, I'm a cosmetologist! Lemon juice will be good for your scalp but it is damaging for your hair, so I would not recommend that, specially with your hair type. everything else that was recommended should do the trick though!
