Sun screen, phone, towel, a good book, sun glasses, lip balm, swimsuit, some kind of swimsuit cover up you can wear if it get's cold, and something to drink! :)

Well, I usually go with a beach towel, tanning oil, SPF lip balm (like Baby Lips), water, sunglasses, a swim suit cover, my Iphone and ear phones (I like Bliss. The cord is cloth so they won't tangle in your bag), and maybe a book.
