Change your shampoos or do a deep conditioning so you can get rid of build up. My hair got like this before from using gariner fructis. I changed shampoos and got a deep conditioner. You could also add a lil bit of baking soda to your shampoo to clean out build up :)) hope this helps.

Hi, I'm a cosmetologist! I completely agree with Ashley, I would actually have you do both the cleansing treatment and then a conditioning one. One of the best deep conditioners sounds gross but I promise its worth it, is mayonnaise. The eggs whites and oils will add strength and shine to your hair and really help it spring back. You also might want to try different heat protective sprays, sometimes these will build up on your hair too and make it look lifeless.
