Birchbox is my #1 month-to-month subscription service. I did a comparison between Birchbox and MyGlam several weeks ago here on Beautylish and I could do one to other beauty box companies I've been with. I'll state this to make a long story short - while Beauty Army (my #2 favorite which soon may tie with BB) is another fantastic company BB still blows the competition out of the water in terms of quality of products, price, shipping (now that they use UPS MI primarily) and rewards. As I mentioned Beauty Army is my #2. I would definitely recommend BB and BA to people.

I have birchbox. There are months when I am in love with it and months when I want to quit it. My advice, if you do get it don't look at what other people get. It will make you jealous and angry like I am.

I had it and liked it when I did but their shipping started taking forever! I would get charged at the start of the month but wouldn't get the box until the very end of the month! I'm thinking of looking into my glam maybe...

I have both. I signed up with my glam when they first started. I have been very happy witht hem both Some months are good boxes some are bad. I do think that bb tries to send things that match to your profile as best as possible. this month i got a box full of samples made for ethnic hair. I also get moisturizer made for aging skin. both points i put in my profile. On the downside they sent press on eyeliner. My glam has had severe problems with their shipping.but they are only 4months old. ive gotten more full size items regularly with them. However they don'y try to send things suited for your profile. just diff colors of same items. At the end of the day they both offer chances to sample items you may have never tried for $10 Start with bb as my glam subs are always sold out. look at what ppl got in their boxes on YT and see which products you like the best. In this month glam i think we are getting a urban decay eye pencil. We have gotten shadows fro them before. last month a got a full size 3lab cleanser. BB alwys sends high perfume samples. I love the annick goutal sample but don't if i want to spend $85 for the bottle.

I love it! BUT...you have to look at it in the perspective that A) its a fun present you get in the mail each month and B) will expose you brands and products that you may never ever go out and buy yourself or have even heard of. Some you'll love, some you'll hate? That's the gamble you take with the birchbox
