In the mornings my acne seems okay with small bumps and blemishes. But later in the day my bumps get even bigger and more noticeable. This especially happens in the summer when it's hot and humid. Since its summer already I want to get rid of this! I'm going off to camp soon so does anybody have any tips on how to stop this? Also does anybody else have a problem like this except me??

I used to have this same problem, it's normal for bumps to get bigger throughout the day, since the oil is building up. What I did to help control this was NOT to touch them, bc I don't know if you're like me (old me-icky lol) but I'd try to pop it to make less noticeable and go away but it only made it worse. I'd get a hot wet rag, place it over my face & let the steam do it's work (releasing impurities) so with clean steamed face, put a cotton ball soaked in witch hazel over problem areas & the next day, it would be a but better:) that morning, clean as usual, moisturize, your other face routine, & use oil blotting sheets throughout the day:) I'm sorry for the novel, but I really hope this helps!:)

Continue to wash your face don't do anything drastic or any home remedies. Your a human being not something artificial its ok to have bumps everyone does. Your skin is purging and cleaning its self don't stop it's process. Try the clarisonic or a facial scrubbing brush from anywhere it all helps. Just continue to wash your face and don't pick your face it only hurts your skin more.

I should have also mentioned that I've been using rosewater. It's been working alright :p sometimes it works great reducing the redness and my blemishes but other times it just doesn't seem to be working at all

I know this may not fit a lower budget, but the best place to go is the dermatolgist. They'll put you on the right acne products that you may not beable to get over the counter.

I've tried it all, I've had acne since I was about 11 and I'm 16 now. A few years ago was when it was extremely bad and the bumps were huge, my face was also red and very raw looking. I tried literally everything. But I went to my doctor again and he suggested I did a full course of roaccutane so now I'm taking one 20mg pill every day, it dries everything out but I have definitely noticed a huge difference, touchwood it carries on improving. I still get bumps but they are no where near as bad as they used to be. It's worth it, I know how down it can get you (:
