So ladies, I've had mild acne since my teens and it got bad these last 2 years where I've been under major stress (hubby's in Afghanistan). It hasn't been until recent when I decided to stop buying acne cleansers and go for a natural route. My skin isn't completely blemish-free but it's considerably better. So I'm just wondering, what has worked for you and what hasn't?

African black soap has worked wonders for my boyfriend and well for me. I haven't tried anything else to be honest.

Getting a clarasonic was the best thing I've ever done for my skin. It's so worth the investment! It's helped with my acne, and even with blackheads and irritation

I use to be acne prone. I'm a beauty consultant and I've helped quite a lot of people manage their acne problems. My favourite solution is Mary Kay acne system solution, & Mary Kay Advance moisture treatment cream to prevent dryness from acne treatment. But the most important solution is to follow instructions, be consistent with use and be very patient. Acne can take a few months to clear of from 5-7months with consistent skincare regimen after clearing.

I highly recommend going the natural route either by talking to someone at lush to find out what would work best for your skin or going to a health food store and trying some natural skin care - definitely the best change I've made for my skin! I like greese lighting from lush as a spot treatment and I use the cleaners and toners! my skin has never looked better

Beaute de Maman! It is a line of skin care products for pregnant women. After fighting acne since the sixth grade I had used pretty much every product you can name. At 30 I had to use BDM while pregnant with my daughter. Best results I ever had! She is four now and I am still using the stuff! It is so gentle and really amazing. I use the exfoliating soap, face & body cream, and add in a simple witch hazel based toner from the drugstore to help with oil control. Best stuff ever, seriously.
