MUFE HD for me... I can feel studio fix on my face, but MUFE's feels like skin and I don't feel foundation on my face at all. Big fan of the dewey finish of the MUFE HD... studio fix is a bit drier IMO. Drug store dupe - negative. Sorry, if I knew, I would be using it... but I do hear lots of people say Neutrogena Healthy Skin is similar.

I totally agree with Soma. MUFE HD all the way. MAC Studio Fix was one of the first MAC foundations I tried and it broke me out! I've tried almost all different types of MAC foundations (I'm in love with the Pro Longwear formula and it's my staple summer foundation), but for year round or special occasions MUFE HD is amazing. The shade range is fab. and matches my fair skin perfectly (I wear # 115!).
But I would say Neutrogena Healthy Skin is more a dupe of Nars Sheer Glow. I've heard great things about the Avon Ideal Flawless liquid foundation, and that it's a great HD foundation, so you may get similar results as the MUFE HD, but I haven't tried it myself.

I love my Mac studio fix but would like to try the MUFE. If you know what shade you where in either brand, you can go onto cover girl or loreal's website, and they can tell you what they carry that is comparable

make up forever HD foundation is the BEST! MAC studio fix i have never been a fan of even while working for MAC years ago. MUFHD is made to lay on the skin perfectly as the liquid particles are not only fluid they are spherical. a little goes a long way and the color line is just remarkable. i am a huge fan of both MAC and MUFHD because of their extensive color line; studio fix just misses the mark for me. MUFHD can also be used in as an airbrush foundaion as well. just mix it with MUF airbrush thinner and there you have it! for the mix i use 1 pump and about 6-10 drops of the thinner. just my two cents :)

I don't really think that they're comparable foundations. MAC SFF is totally matte and medium/full coverage while MUFE HD has more of a natural finish and is meduim buildable. It depends on which finish you want, but I think that the MUFE has a more beautiful finish.

I usually use MAC Studio Fix Fluid mixed with Strobe Liquid to give it luminescence. Without Strobe Liquid it can look quite dry. It's my go-to foundation for medium-full coverage.
You guys are making break out my MUFE HD foundation for today! I haven't used it in months.
@Natasha - Studio Fix Fluid can be used with an airbrush as well when mixed with 244 fluid.
