So for the past few months I have been using the ud primer consistently but I've never been in love with or thought it lived up to its hype at all. For the first time today I used tge nyx primer and I am in love!! It made the shadows look so beautiful and vibrant!! I was actually schocked bwcause its very inexpensive & blew urban decays out the water in my opinion. So now I'm wondering am I crazy? Lol or how do you guys feel about the urban decay & nyx primer???

I own, use, and like both.

I ended up buying the NYX one (the HD one, that is) a few months ago because my UDPP was losing effectiveness, and my eyeshadows just creased up a storm after only a few hours instead of staying crease-free all day. (My guess is my eyes got too used to it and decided to rebel. ;)) Anyway, these days I alternate between the two -- use one for a couple of weeks, then switch. Personally, I don't see much difference in vibrancy and pigmentation.

I think both primer are great. However as a women of color I find it better to use a eye primer similiar to my skintone I am a NARS. mascao or MACnw 40 and i use mac paints in "bamboom" for my base. no creasing does not get greasy and makes colors pop

I like to stick to UDPP. It works perfectly for me, always has. Might as well keep it!

The NYX HD eyeshadow base is my all time favorite. I feel that it works just as good as the UDPP for half the price. I personally don't like the NYX bases that come in the pot, those crease on me.

I personally have only used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and the NYX bases in the pot, but here is my opinion.....

NYX is cheap yes, and works if you are only putting it on for a short while. Usually if I want a quick photo or going to the store, movie, etc. I will use this one cause it wont be on long. It tends to crease and fade my shadows after a few hours.

As for the Too Faced --- You absolutely can not go wrong with it. I wear it for 8 hours + at work, and I have never had it crease, its fantastic (and I work where my face can start to feel really icky)-- again a little bit more pricey, but SO worth it.

I also tend to use more of the pot than the other, because it doesn't feel like enough product the first use.

Hope this helps.

Two Face and UDPP have both creased on me. I absolutely love the NYX HD Primer. It is cheap and it doesn't crease :D

I have used both of of these products and I can tell you that the UDPP is very good, but not very different from NYX HD primer, the only differnce is that the UDPP is a bit more drying and not as sticky as NYX HD primer.
Havig said that the NYX HD primer is a fraction of the price of UDPP, both make eye makeup last a long time and making colors more vibrant.
I like the NYX HD primer better, just because is a bit more sticky and is not drying on my eyelids(I have very dry eyelids X_X)
anothre difference to consider is that UDPP comes in other colors( Sin, Original, etc...)
and I thinks thats it.

hope this helps

Not really, i think is just a question of what you like, I really have not use the udpp in people with oily lids and see how it comes(long lasting, creasing, etc...) so I cannot say is for oily eyelids.
Is just for me is drying because of lids.
What I can say is just try it for yourself, my experince with UDPP is really good, but I mean If NYX HD primer works as well I see poin in waisting money in others that do the exact same job.
and at the end, a primer is a primer right?!
