I had mine done till about two days ago. They were more sensitive for about the first 3 months and then just back to normal. Mine were always gross though so I took them out :/

I dunno mine aren't so sensitive after being pierced they are about half as sensitive unless I catch or hit them in which case they are super painful and I have had them 3 years now.

@Constance Y.girl you shouldn't have taken them out. It takes about 6 months to dang near a year to completely heal...hence the gross side of it. I had mine done a few months ago and experienced a yucky stage. Sea salt rinses helped big time.
