Hello beauties.
I've been having a problem for some weeks now with my glass nail files. I ordered these off ebay probably a month or so ago, and when I first got them they worked great! I filed my nails like crazy when I first started using one of these files, making sure I created the shape I wanted.
The thing is, after having used this one nail file for the first time (for about 40 minutes), it is now simply too smooth to file my nails! I tried googling this problem, but couldn't find anything that would help me.. I'm wondering if any of you here on beautylish have had the same problem? And if you have, how did you fix it?
I read online that to sanitize a glass nail file you only need to wash it in warm water, but I found nothing on how to make the nail file sharp again, or how to make it actually file your nails when it's too smooth. I simply cannot file my nails at all with a file that is so smooth..
Any help here? I will not believe that after having used one glass nail for the first time that it's already "worn out". Or perhaps it is?

Maybe you got a bad batch. It says that the surface is acid etched if that helps at all.

Rebecca, at least now I'm glad I don't feel so alone. I'm still trying to understand this o_o, my glass nail files are completely new, they can't be useless already now..
