Which mascara can you recommend that doesn't result in looking like this?!

It seems whichever one I use (I have about 10 and all do the same!), I always get little flakey bits! I want one that holds curl, lasts all day (without flaking) and isn't as difficult as Max Factor False Lash mascara to take off at night! Any recommendations?

Well my favorites are lancome hypnose and benefits they're real. Though I always use mega plush by maybelline as a base first because of the gel formula.

Jelly pong Mascara. It is waterproof too :) Barry M do a nice one too. x

I had the jelly pong mascara out of my glossybox but found it flaked a lot, I am starting to think it may be because my skin and eyelids get oily really quick? I find all mascara a flake for some reason?

Urban decay curling mascara, smashbox full exposure, and lorac pro don't flake and are really good, but I have yet to find a mascara to hold a curl.

I got the jelly pong mascara in my glossybox too. Sorry it hasn't worked great for you. Have you tried any Barry M mascaras? x

After you curl your lashes go over them with a thin coat of waterproof mascara to hold the curl. Then use whatever mascaras you like, and top it off with another thin coat of waterproof.

I haven't tried any Barry M ones, but I do like most of their cosmetics so might pick one up tomorrow. I find Max Factor false lash effect holds curl well but just don't like how clumpy it can get, so might try what you have said Kayli and use it for just a thin coat!

I agree with Rebecca; I love Clinique Naturally Glossy. Clump Crusher is good too and doesn't flake

It might have nothing to do with the rand it could be that you are pumping the brush too much and putting air in the tube which can make it turn bad or even be too old or out of date since it is crumbling. Either way try and treat your cosmetics with care, telescopic by loreal is cheap and good, a lot of low end brands are just as good as high end

Mascara is only good for UP to two months. Then it does that.

Maybelline The Falsies in Waterproof...it works amazing! but make sure to throw out your mascara every 3 months and DO NOT pump the mascara it dries it out a lot faster

Try a formula that is more dry like benefit bad gal or clinique high impact.

I have so many mascaras (drugstore & high end) & the one that holds my curl the best is the cover girl 'flamed out'

Try using a mascara primer. My fave is Cils Booster XL by Lancôme. It's a bit pricey but well worth it and pairs well with most mascaras. I use it with Hypnostar by Lancôme but Lynzie B has some good recommendations as well!

I use estee lauder sumptuous extreme. It fans out your eyelashes and adds length and volume without the flakeyness and clump free :)

I use one by one from maybelline and it works great! I also use falsies from them but switched to one by one for no apparent reason lol.
