I wamt to do something more than a plain ponytail for volleyball and I want my bamgs to be able to be out of my face since we can't habe bobby pins. any ideas?

I think do a soft curl pony tail and put dry shampoo on it so the sweat won't ruin it :)

How about a French braid? Or a rope or Dutch braid?? Look them up if you don't know how to do them. Or a waterfall braid into a ponytail?
