I think I discovered a zit remedy!

So I had a big pimple pop up under my nose and I have a wedding to go to this weekend. I knew it had to be dried out so I made a paste from baking soda and astringent. 2-3 times a day and it was gone in 2 days!! Have you discovered a strange remedy? What do you use?

Sounds promising :) I DO NOT recommend this but when I was about 12 or 13 I had broken out pretty bad (my skins always been mostly clear) so I panicked and used nail polish remover to dry my face out! crazy thing is it worked. my skin was clear the next day...creepy.
