I don't know what to do anymore, I've had acne for 10 years, I've tried all the drug store and high end products it feels like. I'm on meds now for it and its much better but I still get black heads and little white heads all over my face, and I have large pores. I'm losing how for nice skin...

Have you been to a women doctor? the reason of your problem could be to much androgin hormones... also your problem may just mean that your actual meds really work, cause before it's going to be better, it can be worst for a while... by the way skin treatment could take few years... personaly, I've treated my lil problem with skin (demodex) more than 6 months... better speak with your dermatologyst, alone you could make things go wrong... if smth excuse my english;)

I would also recommend tea tree oil... Its a GREAT toner. I'd also recommend going to an obgyn like diana suggested if you havent already. It could definitely be something with your hormones, our at least might be contributing to it. Sorry youre going through that, though :(

Yeah I also used proactive a few years ago and it didn't do well for my skin at all, either! :( I'd definitely try the tea tree oil though! I love it.

Acne.org has a line that works great its not too pricey but just buy jojoba oil because your skin will get dry

K so proactive is a bandaid fixer it's incredibly dehydrating! I used zen med for my problems! It has natural ingredients and permanently fixed my problem. Be careful with vitamin a (aka retinoids) they also dehydrate and can cause peeling at medication level. If you are on any retin-a type products it also limits what you can get fixed at the esthetics level! For the blackheads and whiteheads please go get an enzyme facial that includes extractions and high frequency at your local spa/ med spa. I'm an esthetician and this is the number one problem we work on!
