Portland Black Lipstick Co. has some great dark colors as well as the best black lipstick I've ever found. Artificial Amethyst is a lovely deep purple color, and they also have some great dark blues and greens. It's $10 per tube but you can get sample slices for $1 each. It also ships very fast.

Mac lipsticks aren't that expensive well compared to like Chanel & YSL lipsticks it's not but I love MAC lipsticks & they have great shades to choose from

Almost all brands carry dark vampy lipcolors. For the best variety try mac and makeup forever. Rebel, diva, and cyber are my favorites from mac. My favorite high end lipsticks are urban decay revolution, though I would call that mid end not high end. ysl rouge volupte shines, and dior addict.

If you want something that will stay on all day without smudging... Even if you eat... Try stila stay all day liquid lipsticks. It comes in 12 colors and goes on super smooth and then dries with a matte velvety finish. I am obsessed and will always recommend that first when someone is looking for a lipstick.
