So I recently purchased N.Y.C liquid liner I really love this product the only thing that I can't control is my oily lids. My friend told me to lightly apply hairspray on my rinf finger and softly pat my eyelid so it stays.Has anyone tired this and if so do it work? Does anyone else recommend something else? Thank you in advance.

Using an eyeshadow primer (even if you're just going to wear eyeliner) really helps. I have to do that for my lids. I use urban decay primer potion. I have tried the hairspray trick, but I used it on top of my eyeshadow to help hold it in place, and I'd already applied primer underneath like usual. It did help so I'd say give it a try but be careful because your eyelid skin is sensitive and applying it directly may be too much. Maybe layer on some face powder then use the hairspray and then do your liner :) or powder then liner then hairspray.

Nope , I never heard of that before :p
That happens all the time to me especially when I'm at work (paintball ref) but when I'm wearing eye primers it doesn't really happen :)
Hope I helped :)

Try using eyeshadow primer like the others said. ELF has an awesome one for only $1 and lasts a long time.

I wouldnt do the hairspray method, the skin on your eyelid is really delicate and could irritate it and it does contain chemicals which can't be good if it gets in your eye. Try a primer or even lightly apply concealer or foundation and set with powder before you apply the eyeliner. Btw I love that liner too! its super cheap & better than most highend eyeliners I've tried!

Try using a primer. otherwise, when putting on your foundation, put it on your eyelids and when putting on powder, go over your lids as well.
